Steam Game Mac Wont Go Full Screen
I was having the same issue (I play on Mac) but fixed it. If you click play game in Steam, a window pops up. Don’t hit play immediately. There is a button right below the play button that says options, press it and a dropdown menu appears. Click game settings and switch the “Play.” preset to Full screen. Cant get Far Cry 2 back into fullscreen. There is no option in game for full screen if you havent played it yet. Go to Documents My Games Far Cry 2.

- Apr 07, 2020 Save the changes and try running the games in full screen mode again. Disable or turn off the Game bar. Press the Windows key on your keyboard and click the Settings icon. Go to Gaming and toggle off Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar. Uncheck Show Game bar when I play full screen games Microsoft has verified.

- edited March 2013Maybe the screen and the game's resolution don't match. I assume you run the game and the screen is the same maximum resolution?

- edited April 2013My desktop resolution and game resolutions are the same, 1920x1080 and the game runs normally without the windowed mode.

Anyway, I run Shogun 2 just fine and its 1366x768 or something in the 700s. I adjusted Medieval 2 to that and it still didn't change
anything. I've tried a bunch of different resolutions in the video options an nothing has happened yet. - edited January 2015I'm having this problem. I just bought this game because a Steam RP Tier needed me to get it, however of course it doesn't work. I've tried everything but mostly what I come up with is people saying how to run Kingdoms in Windowed mode far from what I want.

You just need to go to C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonMedieval II Total War and then click to
medieval2.preference.cfg and add
windowed=0
at the end after this the game runs normaly
