Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone was initially developed for the PlayStation, Microsoft Windows, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and Mac OS X, and was re-made two years later for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube. The plan is for EA to release the Macintosh versions of the Harry Potter, Madden and Tiger Woods games simultaneously with their PC and console counterparts, said EA spokesperson Tammy Schachter. Based on the books and the movies, the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets games were released in 2001 and 2002 respectively. You might remember playing these games years back as a child, the Quidditch gameplay especially stands out in my memory (I used to play it at a friend's house). Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets I was so happy to find this game, it is one of the only 3 harry potter games available for mac. I literally couldn't stop playing it until i finished. The graphics are pretty good, and the storyline is fairly interesting. It is definitely an improvement on harry potter and the sorcerer's stone game!
