In case you haven't installed Steam on your Mac already, here's how.

This first way is the inexact way but it works. You can have Steam identify the game and add it to your library. Create a new games folder in Steam.

- Stop the download, uninstall, and reinstall the game (clear manifest caches). Exit Steam, delete the two folders appcache and depotcache in your Steam install folder. Try to set your Steam download region to some other location far away. This might work if a content server near you is serving bad data.
- The problem is, I forgot exactly where the game was located. The game is still in my list of games, and is highlighted in white like it is active- but of course when I click Play it says games executables could not be located. I tried clicking properties, figured it would say somewhere in properties where hte installation directory is.

Mar 28, 2015 Installing add-ons is simple and straight-forward, drag and drop your add-on into Blockland's add-ons folder and the job is done. Going to the game's install directory is simply going to Blockland's properties in Steam, Local Files, and Browse Local Files. You'll want to head to the Add-Ons folder.
- Go to steampowered.com in your browser.
Click Install Steam.
- Click Install Steam Now.
Click the show downloads button. Depending on the browser, this may open automatically when the file finishes downloading.
- Double-click on steam.dmg to launch the installer.
Click on Agree button.
- Drag Steam into the applications folder.
Exit the window.
How to download a Steam game onto your Mac
- Launch Steam from the Launchpad.
Wait for Steam to update.
- Tap Create New Account or Log in into an existing account if you have one.
Go through the necessary steps to create an account.

- Click Store.
Browse the store for a game you want to download. You'll need to make sure it's compatible with Mac. You'll see the Apple logo on any game that can be played on Mac.
- Click on the title you want to download.
Click Add to Cart.
- Click Purchase for myself.
Select your payment method.
- Fill out your payment information.
Click Continue.
- Click the checkbox to agree to the terms.
Click Purchase.
